Jade Jones OBE is a trailblazing British athlete renowned for her incredible achievements in Taekwondo and her recent transition to professional boxing. Hailing from Flint, Wales, Jade rose to fame as a double Olympic gold medallist, making history as Team GB’s youngest Olympic Champion at London 2012, Team GB’s only ever Champion in Taekwondo and Team GB’s youngest ever two-time Olympic Champion when she successfully defended her title at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. She has also earned numerous World and European Championship titles, establishing herself as one of the most successful athletes in combat sports.
In March 2025, Jade announced her retirement from Taekwondo to pursue a new and exciting challenge: professional boxing. Under the guidance of esteemed former professional boxer Stephen "Swifty" Smith, Jade is now channelling her exceptional skill, discipline, and determination into the boxing ring.
