Diversity & Equality

“New Heights Through Sport”

Our mantra “New Heights Through Sport” puts purpose at the core of our organisation. We are incredibly fortunate at Summus Sports Group to represent a highly talented and highly diverse group of athletes and we focus our energy and creativity on ensuring that diversity and equality is achieved and celebrated in both the industry and the sports that we operate within.

To help us refine our focus we published reports in June of 2020, exploring diversity within the Olympic and Paralympic movements in the United Kingdom. These were published in the format of full reports and summary presentations highlighting our key findings, all of which can be found below.

Full Report (Olympics): Diversity within the Olympic movement (UK)

Summary Presentation (Olympics): Diversity within the Olympic movement (UK) Summary

Summary Presentation (Paralympics): Diversity within the Paralympic Movement

These report had clear recommendations which we will continue to champion within our industry. They also helped us to make our own commitments to driving diversity and equality, these are:

  1. Use our influence within Olympic sport and work with the athletes that we represent and their partners to facilitate accelerator programs in the areas where they are needed most.
  2. Continue to share information and to prioritise purpose, equality and diversity at the heart of every athlete strategy and partnership that we create.

No matter why you are on this page we encourage you to take the time to read the reports and review the summary presentations. If you are an athlete, brand, organisation or fan that finds that our work resonates, please don’t hesitate to get in touch about driving this conversation forward. Together we will reach New Heights Through Sport.

Since publishing our report we have worked tirelessly with our athletes to live our values and follow through on our promises. We are particularly proud of the work we have done with Kadeena Cox via the KC Academy, Katarina Johnson-Thompson via the KJT Academy and Jade Jones and the Jade Jones Scholarship Programme, all these organisations have been set up with a clear focus on providing sporting opportunities, support and inspiration for underprivileged and underserved communities across the UK.
